- Presented in a question-and-answer format, this course combines issues that should be addressed during a design or plan review stage with those that take place during the actual construction or inspection stage in the project. The instructor will use building plans of single-family homes from various sources and photographs taken of the same during the construction process. Code references will be made from the 2020 Minnesota Residential Code and 2015 Minnesota Residential Energy Code. Generally, the course will be from the point of view of the building inspector during regular inspections of different phases of construction.
